NO HARSH words were hurled as both Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto opted to show respect to each other during the final press conference of the "Firepower" card Wednesday at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Pacquiao, the boxing sensation from the Philippines, and Cotto, the pride of Puerto Rico, are scheduled to slug it out for the latter's WBO welterweight crown on Nov. 14 (November 15 in Manila) at the MGM Grand.

But as the two fighters were presented by the card's promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank to the media and those in attendance, neither of the two or their camps throw insulting words to each other.
Cotto said he is more than ready to face Pacquiao, who is the heavy favorite entering the fight despite his disadvantage in size.
"I trained like never before for this fight and we have created a game plan on how to beat Pacquiao," Cotto said. "I dedicated this fight for the glory of all the Hispanics."
Cotto then wished Pacquiao good luck "because he needed it."
Pacquiao was also respectful to his opponent and even thanked Cotto's camp for showing goodwill.
"The Cotto camp has been very good," a smiling Pacquiao said. "There is no reason not to put up a good showing on Saturday because this is the most important fight of my career. After this fight, there will be a lot of excitement for my country."
The 30-year-old Pacquiao is gunning for a record seventh crown in different weight categories and a victory against Cotto will land him in the world boxing history books.
Before the start of the press conference, Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman presented Pacquiao and Cotto with symbolic keys to the city.
The official weigh-in will be held Friday (Saturday in Manila). The fight is at a catch weight of 145 pounds.
