Dimaano rules tenpin event

BUSINESSMAN Sonny Dimaano struck for a total of 781 pinfalls to emerge champion in the Datba Tenpin Weekly Tournament held at the NCCC Mall B3 Lanes over the weekend.

Dimaano won over Lee Martin, Gary Snyder, Ed Ang and Paquito Santos who placed second, third, fourth and fifth, respectively.

Martin hit 777 pinfalls while Snyder garnered 774 and Ang made 769 pinfalls.

Santos, on his part, rolled 756 pins in the event that served as qualifying for the monthly finals that stakes cash prizes.

The tournament was organized by the Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association (Datba). (MLSA)
