JESS Gonzaga and Leizsl Gitaruelas topped the Men’s and Women’s 10K Open in the 4th Seminary Fund Run 2009 held at the Cebu Business Park yesterday.

Gonzaga finished the race in 32 minutes and 45.87 seconds to lead the men, while Gitaruelas was back at the top of the podium after finishing the race in 41 minutes and 24.71 seconds.

Jobert Carolino trailed Gonzaga at 33:16.61 and Bonifacio Monhas was at third place with 33:33.72.

Gerly Rose Baylon finished the race in 47:17.00 to finish second in the women’s division, while Joeyree Lee was third in 54:11.63.

In the 5K students’s division, Bernie Fuentes took first ahead of Rico Roquite and Timoteo Margaha. Robert Daang topped the 5K Mepz Men’s division in 26:27.14, while Ma. Milagros Tanudtanud took first in the women’s race, in 32:45.13.
